Hey Musical Youtubers! I'm happy to announce a new series of videos on music rhythm reading designed for beginners. This first video explores the relationship between quarter and eighth notes in 4/4 time, but in subsequential videos, we will add half notes, rests, and maybe even a bit of triple meter to the mix! This is the second video in this series. In this video, we take a deeper look at the half note and how it relates to the quarter and eight notes. Throughout these videos, steady beat is represented by the boxes, and rhythms are represented as the notes inside the boxes. Counting the number of boxes each note uses is a great way to remember how many beats the note is worth.
